I'm Sorry For Your Loss Film

Hello everyone, I'm Sorry for Your Loss is a thesis film directed by Alexa Thobo-Carlsen and produced by Vuk Milutinovic, both fourth-year students at Sheridan College. This film is about the death of a young girl’s cat that provokes a self-discovery journey of accepting the inevitability of change. To make our film, we would appreciate any donations that would go towards catering, locations, transportation, festivals and production design. As this film has its challenges, including casting a wide range of actors and finding a cat wrangler and multiple locations, any donation would be greatly appreciated.

Synopsis:

I'm Sorry for Your Loss is an intimate portrait about living with the fear of dying, feeling like you have no control, and learning to accept the way your emotions shape you. In this story, Phoebe, an emotionally unavailable college-age girl, learns that her lifelong cat has passed away. Instead of rationally dealing with her emotions, she runs away to find answers in everything and everyone but herself.
