I'm shaving my head to help kids across the globe!!

From a young age, my hair has been a big part of my identity. I always wanted “princess” hair unfortunately for me I was gifted ,until around five, with a ruly tuft of ringlets, but would always get my mum to scrape any tiny curls into little pigtails or plaits. As my hair grew so did my passion for dance so countless hours were given to tight buns and hairpins. And like many girls, my friends and I bond over the pre party glam up, laden with hair straighteners, curlers and a lot of hairspray. My hair has always been my trademark—a big, untameable brunette bush (maybe with a little ginger!) that bounces along behind me wherever I go.

But now, I’m ready to let it go—for something much bigger than myself.

I believe that to help people and the planet, we need to be bold, daring, and willing to say, "Hey, look at me! Now listen!" That’s why I’m shaving my head: to break beauty standards, step outside my comfort zone, and more importantly raise awareness and funds for children across the globe.
