I'm Shaving My Head For Karrie!

Hello!

My name is Jen and I'm raising money for my friend Karrie who suffered a freak brain injury accident back in 2018. Since then she's been in recovery, unable to work and under immense pressure to find the money to pay for her therapies and treatment each month.

Last year I did 12 challenges for Karrie, and this year, it's time to chop my barnet off for my beautiful buddy! I did part-shave my head as one of the challenges last year, but this time, the whole lot's coming off. YEAH BABY! Going all buddhist monk on your ass.

I decided on this challenge before I received this message from Karrie a few days ago:

"I don’t know if you knew this, but the judge denied my disability. Though we are appealing it, the appeal court will take 18 months to say if they agree with the judge, or with all my doctors and my lawyer. Which means that I’m still in a state of no income. "

So it looks like I chose a great time to do this.

Also, and Karrie has said she's okay with me sharing this information, she tragically lost her husband Patrick this past December, so on top of EVERYTHING, Karrie now has this deep grief and a massive hole in her heart. So I'm so keen to help raise as much as we can to at least ease her financial burden.

SO next week, the clippers are coming out, and the hair is coming OFF.

Karrie is such a warrior and is so brave and determined to get better.
