I’m running the london Marathon for Candlelighters

The real speel is below so you can read exactly what Candlelighters do there if you like, but this bit can be my own bit of a take on things.

Im Daniel, im known as many names, Daniel, Dan, Ducky, knocker etc etc and im lucky enough to have got a ballot place at this years London Marathon! Whilst im going to run the event i’m not going to do it in just boring running attire so therefore ill be running as Snow White and bearing brands to Identify the charity - Candlelighters.

Candlelighters are a charity based up in Leeds that help where the NHS can’t, they support the individual children diagnosed with cancer through every step of the way. Whilst giving so much support to the children they also support the families effected in every kind of way they can, from explaining whats going on, offering family support sessions, family assistance and also memory days to families deeply affected.

My family have supported this charity for over 30 years and i’m continuing that legacy by breaking myself (the knees aren't what they used to be) and dragging my 110kg bum across the finish line looking like the best princess out there.

Please donate what ever you can spare, whether it be the equivalent to a coffee - £3 or if you've got a little more free cash then more is welcome, please know that all this money will truly make a difference to this incredible charity supporting children and families from 0-18 Yrs old.
