Hi everyone, In April 2026, I’ll be taking on the challenge of a lifetime — running the Paris Marathon!
I’m doing it to raise money for a cause that means a huge amount to me: Samaritans. For anyone who doesn’t know, Samaritans is a charity that offers a safe place for anyone who needs to talk anytime, day or night, 365 days a year. Their work genuinely saves lives, and their dedication to supporting people’s mental health is something I deeply admire.
Mental health is a cause that’s very close to my heart. I’ve seen the devastating impact it can have, having lost two people close to me to mental health struggles. Those experiences showed me just how important it is that people have somewhere to turn a place without judgment, where they can find hope and someone who listens. This marathon isn’t just a race for me. It’s a way to honour their memory and support a charity that helps prevent others from going through the same pain.
Running 26.2 miles will be a huge challenge but I’ll be thinking of the incredible work Samaritans does every step of the way.
Every donation, no matter how small, makes a real difference:
• £5 could help answer a call from someone in crisis.
• £20 could help train a new volunteer.
Your support will help keep their helpline open and ensure no one ever has to face their struggles alone. Thank you so much for your support ❤️ I’ll be sharing updates on my training journey here, so stay tuned!
