When not running The Guitar Social, I run another thing called Music Prescribed. We do the stuff that The Guitar Social does, but we do it for free and for people that are living with disabilities, recovering from trauma, or just having a difficult time in life. It was for Music Prescribed that I set the world record for the world's longest guitar class in 2018.

We're still active, but we need more money.

We have a new project starting with an organisation that provides much-needed respite and daycare for adults that have been discharged from psychiatric care. I'm going to run courses at their drop-in. In order to this I need to buy about ten guitars, a few bass guitars, a small collection of amps and some percussion instruments. My intention is to help the guys there form a band, but also build a program where participants can ultimately run their own music workshops so that when we move on, there's a legacy left through our spending and efforts.
