In November this year we sadly lost our mum to motor neurone disease (MND). My mum didn’t present the typical symptom of MND so it went undiagnosed for many months despite all sorts of different tests whilst progressively getting worse. It was only after being admitted to hospital did they finally diagnose MND. She sadly passed away a few days later.
After months of trying to get a diagnosis and with my mum sadly losing her battle with MND, I feel compelled to try and help raise awareness of MND, help support those with MND, as well as their families who are battling this horrible disease.
Every day in the UK six people are told the devastating news that they have motor neurone disease (MND). In that moment their world, and their loved ones, can be shattered. Will you join me showing your support for families affected by MND?£20 could buy an LCD writing tablet to enable someone to continue to communicate in written form.Your donation, however big or small, will help to make a real difference. Thank you so much.
