I'm Running 100 Miles for American Cancer Society
Tax deductible
I'm running 100 miles to help the American Cancer Society fight for a world without cancer! Cancer care and research is very important to me; I’m studying nursing at Ohio University in hopes to work in pediatric oncology someday. My little brother, Matthew, has an astrocytoma on his optic nerve. His tumor is extremely rare: only 2-3 pediatric cases like his are recorded in the US each year. Groundbreaking research in ocular oncology helped his team of doctors find a diagnosis and treatment plan for him after years of testing, therapies, and vision loss. This month, I am accepting the American Cancer Society’s challenge to run 100 miles in April. I’m running every step in support of Matthew and everyone else who benefits from cutting-edge cancer research.
