This is a story we never wanted to tell.

For those that have had the gift of knowing this beautiful human, Ross, you know that he was diagnosed with a central nervous system cancer that has had a life of its own over the last 9 years. Our world is filled with so much love and gratitude; however, we have unfortunately reached the point where his care team at Duke and the NIH have shared that there are no longer any viable treatment options to slow down the progression of his disease. Dang. This sucks.

The cancer continues to metastasize in his lungs quickly and without treatment he has been given a prognosis of just a few months' left to live.

Our hearts are breaking. The love and support of our friends and family surrounds us and is honestly needed now more than ever. We are greeting each day with open arms and soaking up our time together on this green planet. This fundraiser will support us in doing just that. We want to keep the main thing, the main thing as we move through this uncertain next phase of life.

Hug the ones you love and remember we are all just trying our best so be kind. We only have one chance at this thing called life. Make it count.
