I'm raising £500 to support Cancer Research UK, Macmillan Cancer Care, Marie Curie Cancer Care and Oesophageal Patients Association.

My Dad lost two of his close friends following their individual battles with Cancer. He decided from that point he wanted to raise funds to support various cancer charities. He arranged a walk across the Yorkshire Three Peaks in 2003 and raised £23,319.34! It was a great success. The walk ran for a further three years in the Three Peaks before moving to Chatsworth. Since 2003 the walk has now raised £224,022.50.

The walk is back this year on 16 May. Simon will be completing the 22 miler, and I’ll be doing the 9 miler with Oscar for the second year. Oscar did his first 9 mile walk last year and he was a superstar. He’ll be delegating his Chief of Certificates & Goodie Bags (CoCGB) role to his grandparents once again.

This year’s walk is in support of Cancer Research UK, Macmillan Cancer Care, Marie Curie Cancer Care and Oesophageal Patients Association. The proceeds of all the walkers sponsorship are shared across these charities. Please donate what you can. Anything will be greatly appreciated.
