Good day, My name is Shira and I am raising funds for myself. In March 2020 I have been diagnosed with cancer (sarcoma) and since then I went through 3 surgeries. My disease remained stable and I was under supervision of the doctors . However in August 2022 I got pregnant and it was the happiest moment of my entire life. I was dreaming of happy and healthy future with my baby. After the birth my oncologist requested for me to do a routine CT scan in order to check the situation. The results came back with a very shocking discovery: The cancer had metastasised to my lungs, with tumours in each lobe of lungs with the largest one already being 4 cm. The situation is critical. My oncologist in London advised me that they don’t know how to treat my cancer as there is no targeted therapy for my disease. I couldn’t believe my ears and started researching different options and found an experimental treatment abroad, which I successfully underwent with a promising response. However it is not enough. As there is no targeted treatment for my disease, I have to think out of the box. I did lots of research, I read lots of books and medical articles about my disease and found that a high dosage of IV Vitamin C infusions resulted in tumour shrinkage in some studies. Without thinking twice, I found a clinic which offers IV vitamin C. I already did 7 rounds and my last CT showed that my tumours keep shrinking, slowly but consistently, since I started this treatment. The doctor in the clinic advised that I should not stop and do the IV drip every week, however the price of each IV is 320 GBP for each treatment which is very expensive for me. I can not afford to pay 1280 GBP each month, along with my other treatments and medical bills. I’m kindly asking you to help me to raise money to cover 8 month of treatment.
