I’m on my last Disability Appeal and can’t work.

Hi, my name is Rashad and I’m fundraising for SURVIVAL. In January of 2019 fell out of chair and had a Grand Mal Seizure and woke up in ICU. My life has been drastically changed for the worst. I’ve lost the last three jobs I’ve tried working since then due to severe seizures. I’m no longer allowed to drive, live alone and now no longer allowed to work. I have tried to continue my life but have been unable to stay healthy. After being denied disability for the second time in three years I have secured a lawyer. I have been advised by my lawyer that my best chance of success will be if I am not working at all because the disability office will look at my tax records first. I explained to my lawyer that I have bills to pay as I am 38 year old and unfortunately that does not matter to the disability office. This fund is my only chance at survival. I currently do not have health insurance and will need a prescription refill in the next couple of weeks. I will need this fund not only for my prescriptions but to pay some of my current bills like cellphone, storage unit, internet etc. My main goal is to be able to make enough to SURVIVE the rest of this year while my attorney fights for my disability. My case is so bad that my doctor would like me to go to Houston’s Neurology Center for testing but again I do not have health insurance so I will use this fund for that testing as well. Since January 2019 I have had well over 100 seizures, totaled 2 cars, fallen down the stairs multiple times, lost 3 jobs, lost 30lbs and half of my memory.  COUNTLESS STAYS IN ICU.  I was an avid shoe collector and have even sold all of my shoes. This has been the hardest four years of my life with no end in sight. If it wasn’t for the strength of my mother I would’ve have given up a long time ago but I’m her only child so I continue to fight for her but I NEED HELP PLEASE. I’m 38 and now living at home with my mom have been forced to change my entire life and have little to know energy left. Please take some time to research my condition and understand what it can do to someone’s life especially when it’s not something you were born with or had as a child. Anything will help PLEASE AND THANK YOU.  Going forward I would like to continue to raise funds to help raise awareness about my condition and be an ambassador for those who are experiencing similar stories, as late life onset of epilepsy can be DEVASTATING.
