Hello friends, family, and anyone taking time to read this fundraiser. From 2011-2024 I was my mother's caretaker while she battled early onset dementia. While caring for her I was also responsible for my brother, Vinny, who my mother adopted from the foster care system. Vinny was developmentally delayed as a result of exposure to substances in utero. Sadly, Vinny has passed away veey suddenly at the age of 39 only 10 months after my mother. This has created an urgent situation for me, as I no longer will have funding as a caretaker effective immediately. I also must move out of my rental home at the end of August. I now have to find employment, and housing on a very urgent basis, which leaves me needing support. It is not easy to share where I currently am, and at the urging of my friends I have created this fundraiser to help me stay on my feet as I make these transitions in life.
