I'm um... before I was anything else.

The mother of a little girl who is not more than a year and a half old, but she carries in her eyes a tale that is much older than her age.

My story, which began as any mother dreams of a simple and safe life for her child, a warm house, a small bed, and laughter filling the place. But the reality was completely different…

Today, my child and I live in a tent.

A tent that does not protect from the summer heat and winter cold, does not protect us from rain, and does not give my little one the safety she deserves.

Every night I look at her sleeping in my arms, wondering:

Are you feeling cold Are you afraid Do you understand why we don't have a house like the rest of the children

My baby is still young…

But she began to realize the fatigue in my face, the hunger sometimes, the fear that I try to hide with a smile.

When she cries, I cry not only for her... but because I am unable to give her her most basic right: a decent life.

We are going through very difficult days…

Sometimes I can't provide milk, diapers, or even enough food.

Everything became a challenge…

Every day is a new battle for survival.

I'm not asking for the impossible...and I'm not looking for luxury…

All I want is a chance... a chance to give my child a better life, a safe place, enough food, and warmth to protect her from the rigors of life.

I write these words with my heart heavy…

Because asking for help is not easy, but a mother will do anything for her child.

And today I extend my hand to you... not weakness, but hope in your kind hearts.

Any contribution, no matter how small, can make a big difference in our life.

They can be a reason to buy milk for my baby, a blanket to warm her, or even a step towards a safer life.
