In Loving Memory of Nina Mottl

If you knew Nina, you knew she was the 2nd oldest of the 11 Patula children, an obedient daughter, a great sister, a loyal friend and second mother to many of her younger siblings & their friends. She couldn’t wait to have children of her own, proudly raising Nicholas, Wayne, Scotty & DeAnna in the suburbs of Chicago amongst the Patula and Trosper families.

Despite the Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis, Nina didn’t let it slow her down for decades whether she was decorating cakes for our family parties or keeping an organized home for her family. Her faith in God helped her through tougher times and she found so much joy in being ‘Bama’ (or Bam for short) to her 7 beloved grandchildren- William, Andrew, Kyle, Ilana, Caitlyn, Madison and Sheyenne.

Nina was a strong, beautiful woman who was taken from us too soon. While we’ll be celebrating her life in a more intimate setting with the immediate family, many friends and relatives have expressed interest in donating in lieu of flowers- a true testament to the many lives she touched. Nina’s stories, laughs and hugs will be missed by many. Thank you for donating on behalf of her family.
