In Loving Memory of Martin G. Mendoza, Sr.

This is not goodbye, but a "catch ya later" until we meet again.

After weeks of fighting, our father, Martin G. Mendoza, Sr., has gone on to be with the Lord at the age of 51. I can't begin to put into words the pain that losing him has caused. This is a devastating time, but it has been so touching to see the outpour of love for our father in the form of prayers, kind words, and messages.

Laidback, easygoing, and always loaded with a dark-humored quip, he made an impression and was a friend to many. A man of many talents, what's always stood out the most is his love and appreciation for cars. He was a hardworking man with a big heart and was often the first person many of you called when your car broke down. Countless times growing up, I'd tag along with him to work on yet another car, only to realize much later how those good deeds made such a difference in many lives, and just how kind and caring of a man he was for never hesitating to pitch in. He was always ready and willing to help out those in need, not only his friends and loved ones, but even those he did not know, and that's how he'd want to be remembered.
