Help with funeral home costs for Jennifer Congdon

My mom Jen unexpectedly passed on Monday July 8th. She was in her home and went peacefully that morning. It’s been hard for everyone she left behind as we try to come to terms and deal with the emotional chaos. She didn’t want a funeral, but we will do a celebration of life once we figure out moving forward.

I feel weird asking for help it’s not something I’m comfortable with. The cremation costs are $2500 and it’s just myself and my sister who works part time to cover these costs. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Those who knew my mom don’t need a description and know how special she was. Those not as familiar I can honestly say without bias she was the most caring and warm hearted individual I’ve ever met. She loved unconditionally and passed judgment on no one. She could find the positive in any situation almost annoyingly so. She was a truly great and special woman. The very best grandmother she was so much more than that to all the grandkids. I could write a novel about her and her good qualities and loving personality. The world, my world, is worse without her in it. Thanks for taking the time to read I appreciate it.
