I'm just looking to finally settle down.

My name is Chris but I go by Benji in the furry community, I have had a pretty rocky life when it comes to work, every job I've had has not treated me well, this isn't a case of me being lazy, because I would get told that i learn incredibly fast hands on, and that I'm really good at the stuff I do. However it would always be one issue or another, be it, constantly being understaffed and I'd be the only one forced to cover everything, or I'd legitimately get verbally abused (along with a bunch of others) because we'd be understaffed by a bunch of no-shows at peak business hours and I personally cant preform the task of 3 people as one person during peak hours. Or the supervisor and/or the boss would treat me really badly, to the point where they were purposely making things more and more difficult until I was forced to quit due to how unwelcome I felt because they couldn't legally fire me bit they had it out against me because I couldn't travel 20 minutes to another school to take over someones shift there and they were already aware i cant drive when i got hired. The downside to quitting though was that I couldn't really get any other jobs in the area because it's a very small town. Not a whole lot of options, especially when you've gone through most of them and the others require a driver's license and vehicle which I do not have and cant really get.

It was at that point in May 2022 that I was essentially forced into doing Artwork full time be it for individuals or legitimate companies. Currently I work from anywhere from 10-15 hours a day, 6 days old week.

I've been doing it successfully for three years, paid my taxes, all that. Which frankly, I want to stick it to those that told me I would get no where with the art I do.

Now enough of the context, onto the point. Originally when I moved to the apartment I'm at now, back in 2020, there was a no pets policy, but after talking to my Landlord they were fine with my bird, and lizard. Just no cats or dogs.

But I have come to the issue where I need to move because I fear my Landlord won't renew my lease this time because they swapped to "No Animals". And worst thing is, my lease ends at the end of August this year.

I have tried literally around 12 places in the past three months only to be turned away for only making 2.5x the rent in income when they want 3x, or because they don't allow pets of any kind, or the biggest issue. 90% of these landlords do not see my Self Employment as legitimate and stable income despite the fact that i provided bank statements because my bank statements fluctuate month to month where one month I'll make waaaaaay more than the previous month or one month I'll only make 2x the income.

After three months of hearing that my Self Employment isn't good enough for these landlords I'm frankly tired of hearing it.

I want to buy a place then i won't have to worry about being told no pets anymore. I can afford monthly payments, but the hard part is getting together that huge down payment. I don't quite make enough to be able to pull together a minimum amount for a down-payment to get a home.

I'm just tired of getting no where and getting a home of my own will be a big step towards having one thing in my life that is stable. And I want a place I can finally settle down and live my life, a place I can thrive without being constantly being stressed over renting.

That's what this is for, while this goes on I'm going to be saving up everything I can myself, in the meantime I will let this run, and anyone that can help I would greatly appreciate it. I know its a large amount, buying a home definitely isn't cheap and even still I only have the goal set to about half of what an average down payment is in this area, and I'm doing as much work as I can without drowning myself in a que, But every bit from this will go towards my future home. Rhe funds will specifically go towards the down-payment and anything excess will still specifically go towards it one way or another.
