Hello my name is Wilma and for the past 4 to 5 years I have been on peritoneal dialysis. My kidneys are operating at a 2 to 3% rate. I went to Cedar Sinai Medical Center, where I am now on their transplant list. I received a call stating a kidney will be available soon. However the after surgery medication is costing $3000 a dose due to the type of kidney available and I need 2 doses plus my travel cost and this is more then I can afford being a senior citizen and living on SS.
