Hi, my name is Jill Armstrong and I'm a 39 year old weightlifter from Cumbria, UK.

I've been invited to compete in the World Strength Games, St George (Utah) in May 2027. I know this seems like an age away but with how expensive everything else is right now, I need to start this off early!!

So, I'm asking for your help. This kind of trip is a one in a lifetime opportunity, and its all self funded. Not only will I have to fund the flights, accommodation, travel expenses once I'm there, insurance (both holiday and my own personal in case of injury) but I'll also have to factor in new kit to help me with my training, and also upping my training levels beforehand to prepare me for the biggest competition of my life.

Any amount you can spare, as little as you can afford - anything will go a way towards me making it to Utah.
