I'm getting top surgery!

Hello everyone! I am M Barnett. I am 21 and identify as nonbinary/gender non-conforming I use she/they pronouns! I am getting top surgery (double mastectomy) WOOHOO! For those that may not know, top surgery is a procedure that removes breast tissue and produces a 'masculine' appearance of the chest. The procedure is very common for trans men and nonbinary folks.
This has been a long time coming; gender dysphoria has plagued me my entire life. I have never felt fully comfortable in my own skin. My chest it has always been a huge stressor for me. It has made me feel less confident and more self-conscious. I could be wearing or doing anything and, just because I have boobs, I will get comments like "sweetheart" "honey" "babygirl" etc. These instances add up and I often find myself unable to even look in the mirror.
I am also doing it for (physical) health reasons-- my back and shoulders are consistently in pain and this surgery will help that too!
I am thankful to have extremely understanding parents, Tyrone Barnett and Rosemarie Barnett. They are providing me with love, support, and most of the costs, but this surgery is expensive! It runs upwards of $4000 and I also need a plane ticket since the surgery is overseas. I am currently a full-time college student who is at risk for COVID-19, so money is tight.
I would really appreciate if y'all could donate and/or share this! Anything helps. This surgery will help reduce my dysphoria as I can finally showcase who I truly am inside and out!
