UPDATE!
I want to say a heartfelt “THANK YOU” to everyone who has supported my ride for the American Cancer Society!

When I set my fundraising goal at $2,500, I never imagined we’d surpass it so quickly. Because of your incredible generosity, we’ve already raised over $4,585.

As a 69-year-old heart patient who is riding with a new hip replacement that’s only seven months old, this 300-mile ride in August is a personal challenge. Every mile reminds me how fortunate I am to be able to do this—and how important it is to support those facing even greater health challenges.

Because you’ve shown what’s possible, I’m raising the goal to **$5,500. This isn’t about moving the finish line—it’s about taking the opportunity to make an even bigger difference together.

If you’ve already donated, thank you. You’ve made this possible. If you haven’t yet, I’d be honored to have your support as I pedal all 300 miles for the American Cancer Society.

Thank you for believing in this cause—and for believing in me. ❤️
Jim

Cancer has touched everyone’s life in one way or another.

I’ve lost an incredible family member and quite a few friends to this disease, and I’ve also been blessed to see other family members and friends overcome it as survivors. Those experiences made this fight deeply personal long before it became part of my career.

As an attorney representing firefighters, I see the devastating impact of cancer every day. Nearly half of my cases involve firefighters diagnosed with cancer after years of putting their lives on the line to protect our communities. These brave men and women face battles long after the fires are out.

That is why I’m riding—to honor those we have lost, celebrate those who have survived, and support the ongoing fight to prevent, treat, and ultimately end cancer.

If you are able, I would be honored by your support. Every donation, no matter the amount, helps fund critical research, patient support, and hope for families facing one of life’s toughest challenges.

Thank you for helping me ride with purpose. Together, we can make a difference.
