Emergency funds to help purchase a used car

Hey everyone, I’ve been going back and forth on whether or not to do another GoFundMe, because I know there are so many people out there who need help too. But after a lot of thought, I’ve decided to reach out again because I really could use some support right now. Why I’m Asking for Help Right now, I’m saving up for a used car. Between my last GoFundMe (which raised $1,570 thank you SO much to everyone who donated), my tax return, and working as many hours as I can, I’ve managed to save up about $4,200 so far. I’m trying to raise the last bit I need to cover things like tax, title, registration, and a few other final costs. The timing is tough: my stepdad, who I currently carpool with, is having surgery in June, which means I’ll be without transportation for a month. I work part-time at Universal, and since I’m on disability, I’m limited in how much I can earn each month. Without reliable transportation, it’s really hard for me to get to work and stay within those limits. Unfortunately, my parents aren’t in a position to help financially right now due to their own medical bills and expenses. This is basically the final push I’m so close to finally being able to buy my own car. Why a Tesla Model Y? I know some people might wonder why I’m going for a Tesla. Let me explain: I have spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy, and it mainly affects my legs. Last year, after almost a year of jumping through hoops getting medically cleared, finishing physical therapy, taking lessons, passing the written test twice, and even getting ripped off by one instructor I finally got my driver’s license at age 37. I even passed my road test with a perfect 100/100. It was one of the biggest accomplishments of my life. After doing a ton of research and talking to friends, Tesla’s Model Y is the best option for me. Here’s why: • Full Self-Driving (FSD) helps me stay safe, especially on long drives after work  One-pedal driving makes it much easier on my legs Backup cameras and all the safety features give me peace of mind It handles long distances well I live about 40 minutes from work It just fits my needs in a way that nothing else really does I did consider other options, like adding Comma AI to a different car, but after researching, it just didn’t feel like that’s the right option with my stepdad’s surgery coming up and no other ride to work, I need to move fast. I’ve done everything I can on my own to get this far I just need a little help crossing the finish line. Thank you so much to everyone who’s supported me.
