Hello everyone, through this publication I want to ask for your help and although we are very embarrassed as a family to resort to this we felt the need to ask for your help.

My name is Louis Olmedo, we are a Chilean family that arrived 8 months ago to Canada, my family followed me to support me in my dream of studying and living outside our country, we came together my husband, my two children of 12 and 8 years old and my pets (2 dogs and two kittens), they are animals rescued from the street and we could not leave them behind because they are part of our family.

Our first dilemma is the issue of my studies because I did not manage to pay the full year and I owe 7000CAD that I must pay before August 2 or else I can not enroll and finish studying, if that happens we will be as a family without status and we could not continue working, I have sought help from the institution but no one gives me solutions and I could pay again in September I have my co-op permit, also I have already secured a job for my practice.

The second problem we face is that at first we had the economic solvency to be able to rent the house where we live today but it is a 2900CAD rent and we have not been able to find a stable job in 7 months so we could not pay the last 3 months of rent in full, in this whole process our savings have been occupied in the payment of the house, including our credit cards where we owe more than 1000CAD each, and because of this we have been surviving with foodbank and help from friends but as you can imagine this help is not eternal and the tenant told us to leave the house at the end of the month, thank God we have found another house that accepts animals and the value is lower so with the work that my husband found this July we could pay for it but he will receive the first payment in August and it will not be the full month which makes everything difficult for us because we must pay the month of rent 1800CAD and the month of guarantee 1800CAD (last month).

The truth I am afraid and I feel responsible for this whole situation, we have asked for credits in banks but they are not approved because we damage our credit history and I do not want my family to be in the street and if I lose our status we would lose the job that with so much effort my husband managed to find, I ask you from the bottom of my heart to please help us with any grain of sand, any contribution will help our family.
