Hi, my name is Yuki and I am a trans disabled refugee here in France. Today, I'm raising money for my monthly bills and expenses, specifically to pay for food, my utility bills and other necessary expenses.

I have been living in France since 2024. Sadly, due to my status and lack of experience here, I am struggling to find work, particularly work that I can do given my current condition and physical health. Charcot Marie Tooth disease. 49 kg for 181cm, severly underweight, fled an abusive family that wished me death.

This means that I am unable to do most jobs that require manual labor. For example, I cannot work on construction sites, in retail or as a bartender. I need a job that allows me to sit down and rest my legs to avoid over-straining them, but sadly most jobs in France just don't offer that. Earlier I was able to find remote work, here in France most jobs are at best hybrid.

That doesn't mean I'm not searching, though. I'm raising money here, but it's been a year since I started actively looking for a job as an IT Support Specialist. It's the main job I did for two years in Eastern Europe. The main obstacle is that people sometimes ignore me outright once they see my ID and realize that I don't speak French fluently enough, plus of course the gap, since my last role terminated in 2024, just before my move here out of security reasons.

As for financial support, both the CEJ and the RSA are closed to me. The former is due to the limit, since you can only apply twice. The latter is closed to me due to age: I will soon turn 24 and, for most people, RSA can't be accessed unless you are 25.

Hence, I honestly have no idea what to do other than to ask for help. Even one euro would go a long way. That's for example a pack of bananas I can eat now. In addition, your help would allow me to do more for FUR/HELP, my initiative that helps other LGBTQIA asylum seekers and refugees. Currently, defunded and fully dependent on my financial situation.
