I’m Bird.

Most people know me as the loud, positive, optimistic, enthusiastic, patient, giving, heart on my sleeve, open, slightly pushy, oftentimes crazy mum and friend. Some will know that I have another side that’s a bit more vulnerable and tragic-feel free to ask me directly about this, I’m an open book and a combination of life events, people and my environment has shaped the Bird that is turning 50 this March.

We all reflect on our lives as we get older. I have adult children building their own nests and hopefully starting their own families soon and I have Leilani starting high school and Tommy starting Preschool this year. The sands of time are now shifting from plentiful to probably less than half and it seems to be going very fast! 50 is still young so I still have lots of life left in me and there are things that I would like to tick off my bucket list.

I rarely ask for anything for myself and even the things on my bucket list isn’t solely for me but for my family to enjoy with me.

So this year, I’m letting you good people decide what delights my 50th year will give me….

£200-£400 London girly theatre trip

£500-£1000 a campervan holiday somewhere

£1000-£2000 cheapish family holiday

£2000-£3000 a trip to Thailand -I would love to get my thai citizenship at last

£3000+ will go towards our dream of a house in France.
