In Memory of Ilse Uskert

Isle was an extraordinary woman who has left her friends and family with very fond memories of how a person can continue to live life to their fullest, despite their age.  I admired how she traveled the world, played Bocce Ball, loved good food with good friends and never wanted anything from anyone, as she loved her independence!  Ilse brought laughterand kindness to family holidays and events and I always saved her a seat next to me every chance I got.  She loved animals and volunteered as a docent at the SF Zoo for several years so we wanted to memorialize her with a bench at the Zoo by raising $3,000.  She was a special lady and she will be missed.
