Frank R. Gonzales Jr. has enriched the lives of everyone around him in his 80 wonderful years on this planet, and we hope to keep his sweet self around as long as possible. He's a Korean War veteran and has been a father figure for many close to him, giving all his support and love unconditionally. He has recently been diagnosed with Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma but has just had the surgery to remove the original tumor. DLBCL is an aggressive type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma that develops from the B-cells in the lymphatic system and is the most common subtype accounting for 30%-40% of all cases. DLBCL is high-grade (fast-growing) and needs to be treated quickly. The current standard treatment is rituximab plus CHOP chemotherapy (R-CHOP), and the treatment usually continues for approximately 4 months, but on the bright side, this type of cancer happens to be very responsive to treatment with a large percentage of people being cured. He is otherwise completely healthy and continues to work to this day, but needs to start treatment ASAP. His insurance deductible is $3000 and we're trying to get as much of the cost covered for him as we can. Any and every donation is highly appreciated and we all sincerely thank your kindness from the bottom of our hearts.
