The ILMS Dance Team is dedicated to showing our community and school spirit through dance! We are a completely self-funded team (we're actually our own 501c3!) and rely on the donations and support of others to make this team work.  
We work hard to improve and grow as dancers and as young women.   In addition to football and basketball sidelines and halftimes, we perform at pep rallies and community events.  We also travel and compete against other dance teams and attend camps and clinics to grow as dancers.  We work with others who have been part of the collegiate dance world and hope that our dancers will go on to be members of our high school team and members of collegiate teams.  
As a coach, I grew up dancing in a studio.  For me, dance was the place where I felt the most me.  It challenged me and pushed me.  When I felt self conscious about my body (as many young girls do), dance reminded me of the amazing things my body could do and made me feel confident.  When I was dealing with stress or having a great day, dance gave me an outlet to express it.  Dance taught me how to be a leader and how to carry myself with confidence, grace, and class.  Dance was empowering for me.  In many ways, it helped make me who I am.  And it is my dream as a coach to give that same gift of an uplifting and empowering environment to the dancers on my team.   But it takes contributions from those that love our dancers and their families or who support our mission to empower and uplift young women while showing our community and school spirit through dance to make this team successful.
Here are some (but not all) of the things your donation can help pay for:
A contribution of $25 covers a CAMP/PRACTICE OUTFIT for one dancer.
A contribution $50 pays for a PAIR OF SHOES or CHOREOGRAPHY FEES for one dancer.
A contribution of $75 covers HOTEL COSTS for one dancer for a competition event or a TEAM BONDING ACTIVITY.
A contribution of $100 pays for one dancer's TEAM GEAR or a team LEADERSHIP CLASS.
A contribution of $150 covers COMPETITION REGISTRATION for the team.
A contribution of $200 pays for over 75% of one dancer's SUMMER DANCE CAMP.
