Help Continue My Photography Journey: Fund a New Camera!

Introduction (and short story)

Peace and love family, it's Jo'rell. Many of you know me as a spoken word artist and creative, but I have always been taking pictures, and have grown from a passionate IG poster to a professional photographer.

10 years ago I created @illestviews taking pictures on my iPhone. I did it for fun and a few likes. But in the last 3 years after getting my first entry-level DSLR, I turned camera shots into booked clients, gigs, and events, and even created my website! (www.illestviews.com)

Photography has become more than my creative outlet, it’s been my way of connecting with others, documenting my life, and slaying the dragon that is NYC RENT!

However, my journey has hit a roadblock, and I need your help. Recently, my camera--my most essential tool--broke down, leaving me unable to continue my work. This camera isn't just a piece of equipment; it's a great deal of my livelihood and income.

The Goal:

I am looking to raise $3,500 to purchase a new camera and equipment that will allow me to continue my photography business. This amount will cover the cost of a quality camera, essential accessories, website maintenance, and a bit of breathing room to continue the illestview pursuit.
