May of 2025 my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. He was a healthy man most of his life. Loved playing basketball and was a loving father who loved his wife and his 3 sons very much. Ever since he was diagnosed he was going through chemotherapy all the way up to 2026. The tumors were shrinking and things seemed to be going well. Unfortunately, in an instant he had to be sent to the hospital at the start of February 2026. He couldn't breath on his own and needed special equipment to do so. He fought so hard to stay with us just a little longer but on February 7th his body couldn't hold on any longer and he is no longer with us. He was such a loving father to the end. He deserved so much more in his life. There's so much more I wanted to say and ask him, but it'll be okay. He's no longer suffering and is in a better place.
