On October 3rd 2026, I’ll be taking on the Garden City Backyard Ultra in Toowoomba QLD and I’ve teamed up with The Younger Heroes Charity to help make a difference for current and ex-serving Defence Force families.

A Backyard Ultra is simple in theory — run a 6.7 km loop every hour, on the hour, and keep going until your body or mind can’t complete another lap.

There’s no set finish line. You just keep turning up, hour after hour, pushing through the fatigue, the pain and whatever else the race throws at you.

I’ll handle that part — but I need your help.

The real reason I’m doing this is bigger than the race. It’s about raising awareness and funds to support Defence Force families who have made sacrifices that often go unseen.

My goal is to push myself as far as I possibly can and use every lap to raise money for The Younger Heroes and the families they support.
