Ilene Case Yokofich passed away on 10.10.2021 due to complications from Triple Negative Breast Cancer. She was diagnosed in October 2020 and after almost a year of fighting for her life, our Warrior Queen lost the battle.

As we are aware, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month . In the wake of this devastating loss, we have the opportunity to show our support to a family who has been impacted by this far-reaching disease.

This type of cancer is arguably the most aggressive and deadliest cancer in the world. Survival rates depend on early detection and quick and an even more aggressive treatment plan. After 6 months of intense chemotherapy and multiple surgeries, Ilene spent the last two months in the hospital fighting every single day as new tumors popped up all over her entire body. Her husband called to share the news of her passing and as he was processing the devastating loss of his wife, he said "I really wanted to be able to take her home and hold her hand in our backyard one last time before she was gone".

As we mourn the loss of our friend- a devoted wife, loving mother, sister, daughter, and true leader in her industry- whose life has positively impacted so many, we ask ourselves "How can I help?"
