Ilene & Carl with medical bills for IrisMarie

Hi, my name is Traci. I am making this GoFund for my good friends Ilene and Carl's new daughter. IrisMarie was born at the beginning of June and has spent her life thus far at Children's Hospital; She was born with a heart condition called Tetralogy of Fallot and has also been diagnosed with hypothyroidism.

Ilene has been on maternity leave during this time and has not been working; Carl has been working but has had to leave early on several occasions to make it to doctors appointments for IrisMarie. Her surgery to go home was scheduled for today, 6/20/2022, but on Friday they received a call from the doctors stating that Irismaries oxygen levels had dropped drastically. Therefore, they would need to put her on an ECMO Machine; The ECMO machine is similar to the heart-lung by-pass machine used in open-heart surgery. It pumps and oxygenates a patient's blood outside the body, allowing the heart and lungs to rest.

I have made this page in hopes of helping them with medical expenses for IrisMarie and to help with their monthly bills during this uncertain time.
