If you knew Ileana, you know she would not want the people she loved to grieve her passing. Let us channel our grief and celebrate her life by paying forward all she has done for the children in our community.
Ileana worked in East Brunswick as a Student Assistance Counselor, dedicating her life to helping others. Although Ileana spent most of her time at EBHS, she also worked at Memorial Elementary School and at Hammarskjold Middle School, having an impact on every level in education. She inspired, taught, encouraged, and supported thousands of children, families, and colleagues. She left an imprint on our community that will never be forgotten.
Ileana was a devoted wife and mother, and her greatest wish was to ensure her son had every opportunity to finish his education. In her honor and for her legacy, let us support this fund that will go directly to fulfilling that wish.
