Hi,

We are Amy, Levi, Harrison, Helena, Megan and Ben from Mizukara Karate Club based in Bangor. We have been selected by Karate Northern Ireland to represent our country at this year's European Championships in Poland from 23rd-26th October. Between the six of us we have Northern Irish, Irish, Scottish, British, European and World Medalists and Champions.

We have been training across the country, several times a week, competing, sometimes multiple times, each month and undergoing a specific training plan to get us ready to go head-to-head against the best of the best.

Karate is a self-funded sport and receives little to no financial aid to help with competition costs such as entry fees, travel expenses, accommodation and insurance as well as being kitted out with team gear and all protective equipment.

We would appreciate any help at all from local businesses, sponsorships, friends and family.
