My name is Isaac "Ike" Rodriguez and I'm an artist from the greater Houston area. I am in the 1st year of my business, Ike's Art Studio and I love what I do. Being able to be a full-time artist is amazing. Have worked hard, sacrificed, and dedicated my life to being the artist I am now. I've had some amazing experiences, work for sone pro-athletes, I have helped some awesome charitable organizations and met some awesome people. I try to appreciate every moment that have been a part of.
As a result I have been recognized by a nationally publication magazine that is the pricing guide for sports memorabilia, Beckett monthly. They selected 12 artist from across the country to be in their June Edition of Baseball Monthly and their Vintage Collector releases. It is a great honor to be recognized with artists who have inspired me over the years. This is amazing opportunity have my art work view to a national audience and for me this could do wonders for my business and my career as an artist.
As part of this recognition Beckett is looking for some of the artists elected to do media and PR at 3 different sports memorabilia shows across the nation. They would be the Tristar National show in Chicago, the Industry summit in Las Vegas and the Sports Card Expo in Toronto. I will itemize the 3 shows in breakdown the expenses for each. The Toronto show is still to be announced so I'll do my best to estimate those expenses the expenses. The expenses will be for 2 people. The 2nd person will be there to help and various tasks such as setting up keeping up with information, both given and received, taking pictures and videos, and to keep me from losing my faculties.
Well nothing is promised I believe this opportunity could help springboard my art career. This is a chance for a lot work. Enough to where I can afford health insurance. This show is still in planning so details will come when I get them. For right now I'm estimating about $8,000. My hope is that I will come under budget with the first two trips and I'll be able to apply to this trip.
