Iker is a 5 year old with Cystic Fibrosis. He has received treatment to help him breathe and have a better quality of life since he was a baby.
Two months ago he had a bronchoscopy and the results weren't as promising as everyone hoped. His right lung is infected with a bacteria (Staphylococcus Aureus) and a third of this lung has been permanently damaged.
Despite the diagnosis, his health insurance is refusing to cover the antibiotic he needs. The monthly treatment costs around $3,700 dollars.
