Ike Strasser Family Needs Help

Tragic Accident Leaves Family with a Severely Injured Dad and Recovery Will Take Over a Year.

 

Ike was always there for anyone that needed a hand. He is a strong husband, father, and friend but now he and his family need your help.

 

On January 9, 2022, our good friend Ike was snowmobiling and had an incredibly severe accident. His helmet was cracked in 2 and he sustained incredible injuries. It is a miracle he survived. As you know, Ike is a modest building contractor and does maintenance on properties around Lake Geneva, WI. He employs a couple of people who depend on him for an income and he is the primary breadwinner for his family including his wife Julie and his 2 precious daughters.

 

From January 9 until February 4th, Ike was in Intensive Care hours from home. On February 4th he was finally transferred to a rehabilitation hospital closer to home for further treatment. The expected recovery from his massive physical injuries will take at least a year. The costs of taking care of him along with paying normal bills have gone beyond their ability.

 

Ike is a tough guy, but he suffered injuries that are unimaginable. Here is a small list of his injuries:

Broken Neck

Broken Back

Broken Shoulder

Broken Collar Bone

Broken Sternum

Every Rib Broken Front and Back on his Left Side and Most on his Right Side

Broken Orbital Eye Bone

He also experienced:

Brain Bleed and was unconscious for almost a month, was on a feeding tube and intubated, he is still on oxygen.

 

Ike's mind is still trying to recover and will, but the overall physical recovery will take over a year.

 

Insurance will cover some things but not an income to support basic home bills. Ike's family is in need of financial help with house payments, utilities, and the like.
