IKAROS

Ikaros - A dystopian future sends the city into disarray, with military corporations overhauling the media and the threat of conscription on every corner, a cyber terrorist group pursues a revolution.

Through a pilot episode and sizzle reel, Ikaros tells a story that is prevalent in our own society today. The story discusses real world problems, such as poverty and the stark differences between the rich and working class as well the gruelling reality of war and propaganda. Follow Rhett and the rest of Ikaros as they cause disruption through media broadcasts by using a puppet as their persona to encourage an act of revolution, however with the threat of conscription haunting them and MercerMax, a formidable military company doing whatever it takes to stop them, can Ikaros succeed in their plans or will they fly too close to the sun?

The topics and themes in this story mean dearly to me, which is why I want to bring the story to life the best way I can. Living in a time of uncertainty can be worrisome and for many of us, we are concerned about where the future could be going. Ikaros is my way of spreading awareness.

I would be so grateful for any donations to help bring the project into fruition. Any help, big or small would be dearly accepted. Film making is the career I desire to go into and in the future I hope to continue to create films with purpose. Donations would be used to fund props, locations, costume and travel expenses.
