I enlisted into the United States Navy fresh out of high school and served our country with pride. I was as strong as an ox back then. Time changes everything. I’m 44 now. Roughly a year ago I was told I have cardiomyopathy and need a heart transplant. My health rapidly continues to decline and I have been told by my doctor (due to my height, blood type etc.) I’m not likely to live long enough to receive a donor heart.

Although I have a huge amount of caring friends here in Cleveland, Ohio, I miss my family. My sister has offered me to finish up my last days with her and her family in Henderson, Nevada. 

The problem is I’m on disability now. Unfortunately veterans like me don’t qualify for much in the way of help these days so I don’t have the funds I need to move what little I have left across country. I could really use some help. Please.
