I am writing you to tell you of an exciting opportunity that has come my way. Seventh & Eighth graders at my school have been given the chance to travel to Washington, D.C., and New York, during Spring Break of 2015. The trip has been planned and designed by our Apple Student Tours, along with our Principal, Ms. Ludden.  This is an annual trip for my grade level, and a once in a lifetime opportunity.  This trip is  designed to provide us with the most educational and entertaining experiences possible in the 8 days that we will be traveling. Some of the sites we will be seeing are:

The Smithsonian Museums
The Holocaust Museum
Mt. Vernon (Home of George Washington)
Memorials: Vietnam, Lincoln, FDR, WWII, Korean, Washington, Jefferson

Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island
New York Yankees Baseball Game
Wall Street & Financial District
Trinity Church, 9/11 Memorial & Museum
Monticello (Home of Thomas Jefferson)

This cost includes airfare, ground transportation, hotel accommodations, and three meals a day for the entire trip, as well as entrance fee into every event . Each one of the students going on the trip is responsible for their own fund raising for this trip.
