IHS Endowment - Resources for Another 20 Years

The Institute for Hermetic Studies was founded in March 1997 in Wilkes-Barre,  Pennsylvania and is a registered 501(c) non-profit dedicated to the advancement of Western Esotericism. The Institute is registered with Guidestar and holds a Silver Seal rating. 

The Institute for Hermetic Studies is an organization devoted to preserving the living western wisdom traditions of personal spiritual awakening.

This is accomplished through our stated mission of producing and maintaining exceptionally high-quality classes, conferences, books, instructional materials and communities to assist individuals in developing an effective personal spiritual practice.

To date we have:

1) Successfully completed  six major fundraising campaigns over five years (using Indeigogo).

2) Published nearly thirty titles that have been translated into one or more of a  dozen languages.  

3) Appeared on over one-hundred programs including  major television,  radio, and podcasts including: Coast to Coast AM; Beyond Belief with George Noory (Gaia); Open Minds with Regina Meredith (Gaia); Glitch Bottle;  Occult of Personality; Magical Egypt Live; Higherside Chats; Stirring the Cauldron; Where Did the Road Go?; and more.  Stavish has also been a consultant to the History     Channel, BBC, and has be quoted in The Boston Globe and the New York Times.  He is rated in the top ten percent of on-air guests across all programming on the Gaia Channel.

4) Produced and maintained an extensive and complete online set of programs for  the self-study of esotericism, as well as providing group practice and question and answer sessions accessible through Teachable.com. 

5) Provided free and on request literature to incarcerated men and women who wish to follow one or more of the spiritual paths associated with the Western  esoteric traditions.

Through our endowment we seek to provide the financial resources needed to foster and support new and existing programs, publications, and activities that will sustain the living and varied western esoteric traditions well into the 21st century.

We have done this successfully for twenty years, and we are fully capable of  continuing to do so, in an effective and efficient manner for twenty more.  All great institutions and traditions have their roots in effective organizational leadership and planning that means looking beyond the first generation of members.    It is to this end that we invite you to participate with us in providing the needed resources for an effective and efficient second, and even third-generation of  leaders, students, and supporters of the Institute for Hermetic Studies.

This will be done by investing all funds raised for the endowment into qualified and professionally administered investment vehicles as        suggested by a third party investment professional at Community Bank, N.A.
