Igor’s Fight

Due to overwhelming requests from family and friends - we decided to create a go fund me on behalf of our dad.   -Alexandra & Roman Zaretsky. 

Our father, Igor Zaretsky suffered from a strok with bleeding in multiple areas of his brain in late September 2019. He is only 62 years old. He gradually became confused and ultimately ended up in the ICU in Israel. He has remained in the hospital ever since. He is now impaired cognitively and physically. We are unsure if he will ever recover. His condition is very unstable at this time.

Our father has always been the glue that holds our family together.  He was also the financial provider of his household. He is now unable to return to work for the foreseeable future(and May never be able to do so).  Our mother (Elena) is unable to work while my father is hospitalized 1.5 hours away from their home. My mother is in poor health herself, and this ordeal has been very difficult for her. My brother Roman and I live/work in the US and we have been unable to be with our parents during this family crisis.  We have been trying to help with their financial expenses associated with medical and household bills. However, expenses are piling up quickly and our father might not ever be able to return to work. If he stabilizes enough.... then he will be sent to a rehab/ nursing home facility. Our mother is the only family he has in Israel. We are asking for help for our mother so that she can pay some of the medical bills and household bills while she deals with our father’s hospitalization. Anything to ease her burden would be much appreciated. Any prayers, well wishes or donations of any size are welcome!
