Hi, I'm Dionne.
I'm an international student living in Australia, currently studying a Bachelor of Nutrition (minoring in sports nutrition)
at the University of the Sunshine Coast. I have a commitment to health equity and cultural connection through food.
I've made it this far through resilience, grit, and deep purpose. I’ve supported myself by running a small cleaning business, volunteering with OzHarvest, attending industry conferences, and showing up for my studies full-time. My days start early, and I give everything I’ve got—but despite doing all I can, I’ve reached a point where I can’t move forward alone.
As an international student, I’m not eligible for government loans or HECS. My tuition must be paid upfront. And right now, I’m short on fees for the coming semester.
This is where I’m asking, with openness and sincerity:
This is my last semester, I've made it this far! Imagine where I can go with your help.
Whether it’s $20 or $200, every contribution brings me closer to graduating and giving back in the way I know I’m meant to. I’m inviting you to invest in something bigger than me—a ripple effect of knowledge, care, and healing that will flow through the communities I serve will just be a bonus.
Your support will go directly toward my tuition and help me continue what I’ve worked so hard for.
Thank you for reading. Thank you for believing.
With gratitude,
Dionne Taylor
