Ignacio's Fight: Your Support Matters

On March 21, 2025, Ignacio Martinez was tragically caught in the crossfire of the Las Cruces, NM mass shooting at Young’s Park. As a bystander, he was shot over 8 times and was air lifted to the hospital in critical condition. His teenage son, who was also wounded in the same senseless act of violence, was also rushed to the hospital in critical condition and is now recovering by his side.

Ignacio, who is the head of his household, now faces a long and uncertain road to recovery. It is estimated that he may be out of work for at least six months. However, there is a huge possibility that he may never fully regain the ability to work again. This uncertainty weighs heavily on him, as he worries about how he will continue to support his family.

Known by many as a good father, a loving son, and an extraordinary man, Ignacio has always gone above and beyond to support his family, friends, and community, without hesitation.
