For those of you that don’t know, our beloved friend Myla Rahman was diagnosed with breast cancer. Late last week, she underwent a double-mastectomy. She is recovering, but she faces several months of chemo-radiation therapy.
Myla is a single parent with twin seven-year-old girls, Lila and Liah, and her employment has ended. She will not be able to work for the foreseeable future. While she is applying for unemployment and possibly disability, she has bills to pay now (rent, food, utilities, childcare).
It’s time for her family and friends to come together and support someone that we all love and care deeply about.
