A gift for my Mother and Sister

Hey everyone my name is Anthony and for Christmas all I want to do is raise money to donate in my mother's name to Children's Tumor Foundation.

Children's Tumor Foundation is an organization that works to end NF (neurofibromatosis).

Let me explain why this donation is so important to me, my little sister Celia suffers from NF type 2. Her whole body is riddled with tumors all along her nervous system. She lives in constant pain and at 11 years old she has already undergone around 20 surgeries. The tumors make it difficult for her to walk, see, and hear.

If you were to look at her you would see a normal girl. Her favorite movie is Frozen, she loves the color purple, and she loves horses. To me she is a normal little girl, she's my sister. Sadly though there are a lot of people who don't understand what she and my mother go through on a daily basis. On average my mom is driving to Boston from western Massachusetts about 3-4 times a month to meet with a dedicated team of doctors and staff for MRI's, check-ups, and in emergencies.

We have been lucky to have support from other families who also have a child suffering from NF or NF2.  My mom even used to host her own charity every year to raise money to give to Children's Tumor Foundation. 

She eventually had to stop because as Celia's main caregiver, distractions from everyday life, and difficulty organizing the stress got too much for her. 

So this year I wanted to do something special for Christmas. I go to college and I work two jobs and I am thankful for everything my parents have done to help me along the way. Last year I was completely broke since I lost my job and no one would hire me. I wasn't able to buy any presents for my family. I want my mom to have a great Christmas and I want her to know I care.
