Hello! My name is Daniel Goel, and my Kru is Mark Cleary. This year, I have been selected to compete on behalf of Muay Thai Canada at the international level against some of the best competition that our sport has to offer. This year, I won the CMTO (Canadian National Tournament) at -71 KG and was awarded with the honour of being the "Athlete of The Year" by our governing body, Muay Thai Ontario, following a prolific 8-1 record in 2024. Now as I graduate to the international amateur level registration fees, bloodwork, travel expenses, hotel costs, and all other financial burdens fall directly onto the athlete (in our case Kru Mark as well). As a result, for this year's IFMA Games, held in Antalya, Turkey, for both myself and Kru Mark we require 10,000 CAD in order to cover all of these expenses. Any amount of help which you see fit to push us towards this goal would be greatly appreciated!!!

In July, 2025, myself and Kru Mark are moving to Thailand for the purpose of training and fighting among the best that the sport has to offer. I intend on transitioning into fighting professionally as soon as I reach Thailand and I am aiming my sights on the absolute pinnacle of this sport. By donating now, you are helping me reach my eventual goal of fulfilling my dream of professional fighting. Kru Mark has been training and teaching Muay Thai for the past 40 years... His wealth of experience allows him to train individuals to a caliber which is almost unheard of in North America. Not only am I lucky to have Kru Mark as my teacher, he is by mentor and as close to family as a person can be.
