If you can please help get a roof over our heads

Hello, my name is Lucy.
Myself and my two children 6&7 have been living in a tent with an outdoor covered marquee for nearly the last year.
We were asked to leave the last rental we were in and so forced into tent life.
We have really adapted to this outdoor lifestyle, enjoying the extensive benefits, however, creating the right structure to live in and the best roof over our head has been the ongoing challenge.
We had just set up a tarp structure over our tent and marquee, last week, to add to the weather protection for the upcoming rainy season here in the rainforest in FNQ Australia..when disaster struck.
A cyclone.
Cyclone Jasper was a category 2 cyclone system that passed very close to the land we have been living on.
Trees are falling still, intense flooding is still happening and an ongoing power outage is being experienced.
I have spent this last year tending to my young son Asa’s intense emotional needs. Choosing to take him out of school be because of bullying, that was making him in his words, believe that I ‘wanted him dead’, and so I have been unable to work very much.
But I have realised that the job of being a extremely present mother, with a vision to reconnect my children with nature, is the probably the most satisfying and yet least financially rewarding ‘job’ that exists.
Thankfully, Asa is now in far more stable emotional and mental health, in fact he is really happy.
I am not receiving the child support I need from the father of my children, I am not in contact with my direct family in the UK, and have no car of my own right now.
In fact I own basically nothing at this point.
I am being supported by the lady who owns the land here, Elizabeth. She is an angel, however she also has been struggling financially, allowing people to stay on her property who have no where else to go, and putting herself out financially in the meantime.
We have been staying at her house throughout the cyclone but she has friends coming to stay for Christmas so we will be without a house for the foreseeable as I have no extra funds to buy us a new tent.
But there are miracles that could occur with the help of some kind hearts and hands.
There is the promise of a relatively cheap bus that doesn’t drive but would make an excellent shelter here, for me and my babes.
And we have a plan to build a simple solid roof structure to attach to the bus.
I feel so vulnerable putting myself out there to receive support, however I know there are many like me who want to support friends and loved ones and generally people who are in dire need of it.
I have learnt many lessons about not giving to receive, but to give without expectation from a compassionate heart.
And I am so grateful for all the loving support I have already received this last year.
I know there are many causes out there deserving of donations of money and energy right now, and in the future when I am again financially stable, I will again do what I can to support others.
But right now I am asking for your help.
To help me to get a solid roof over my children’s head at this time.
I am so grateful for your prayers also.
